EBARA Holds Pump Seminar in Cambodia

EBARA CORPORATION (hereinafter “EBARA”) held seminars on pump technology on June 28 and 29, 2018 at Institute of Technology Of Cambodia(ITC)in Phnom Penh Cambodia. This was more than 20th times EBARA held seminars in Cambodia. 83 participants attended from Ministry of Rural development, Phnom Penh water supply, municipal water supply and university.

The main industry in Cambodia is agriculture and many pumps are used for irrigation. In addition water supply and sewerage pumps are increasing with urbanization. At the seminar we gave lectures focusing on basic knowledge of pumps and the basic plan of pumping stations used for water supply facilities.

EBARA has continued to deepen its relationships around the world through the provision of technical guidance and other forms of international cooperation. Since the launch of the EBARA Hatakeyama Memorial Fund in 1989, it has organized more than 270 seminars at different locations around the world, welcoming upwards of 12,000 participants. In FY2018, EBARA is set to give six seminars.

EBARA will continue to contribute to the development of Southeast Asian countries not only by offering pumps and other products and services, but through technical seminars and other international cooperation activities.
