EBARA CORPORATION
The certificate for the Outstanding Paper Award
Ebara Corporation (“Ebara,” hereafter) has received a 2017 Outstanding Paper Award from the Turbomachinery Society of Japan (“TSJ”). This marks the sixth time a paper lead-authored by Ebara Corporation has received the award.
The award-winning paper, titled “A Study of Morphological Design in an Industrial Vertical Multistage Pump,” was published in the TSJ’s journal Turbomachinery volume 45, issue 3, and summarized the results of joint research conducted with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Morphological design technology is an optimized design method that place an emphasis on pump reliability. To adapt this JAXA-developed technology for industrial use, Ebara is engaged in joint research with JAXA and the Muroran Institute of Technology.
Ebara will continue is research and development efforts leading to the “Improved Product Competitiveness” declared as a priority measure in E-Plan2019.
