EBARA is vigorously promoting company-wide DX, including our plants aiming to streamline information (*) by integrating all production systems. We will eliminate delays in dissemination of information and instructions such as design changes, improve productivity by providing tablets to all employees at manufacturing sites (434 employees, as of April 2021), and set up an environment which enables information sharing in a timely manner.
In addition, manufacture-related documents will be centrally organized and shared via cloud. The communication methods will be integrated in digital such as email or the internal network to promote paperless operation. It is expected to eliminate information gaps and motivate employees working at manufacturing sites
It is essential to improve the information infrastructure as well as IT literacy of manufacturing site employees to promote DX at the EBARA Group. The initiative will be deployed globally in steps to improve ROIC as a result of operation efficiency and productivity throughout the organization. At the same time, we will further enhance our corporate value by creating the workplace where employees feel a sense of accomplishment in their work.
