Ebara Pumps Europe S.p.A. (EPE), an overseas group company of EBARA CORPOARTION (EBARA), is pleased to announce to become a member of Off-Grid Water Alliance (OGWA).
Based on UN data, 2.2 billion people around the world still lack safely managed drinking water, including 7.85 million without basic drinking water*. Since its foundation, the EBARA Group has been supporting society and contributing to resolving social issues. As EBARA, we have assumed the responsibility to address the global water challenges.
EPE is proud to be one of the members of Off-Grid Water Alliance (OGWA) that aims to realize sustainable society where such as SDG6 (clean water and sanitation) and SDG7 (affordable and clean energy) are meet. The mission of the OGWA, officially launched on December 2nd, is to build synergies between the members and businesses addressing the growing global water challenges in off-grid part of the planet. We advocate for actions strongly believing that water is essential to health, agriculture, ecosystems and education: access to clean water is important for a safe and reliable living, and that it will bring greater corporate value to the brand and recognition as a global company of excellence.

In accordance with EBARA’s long term “E-Vision 2030”, the EBARA Group will contribute to a sustainable society with ample food and water, aiming to provide water to 6 hundred million people in the world.
The EBARA Group aims to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by addressing material issues identified in its long-term vision and executing the medium-term management plan to increase corporate value.
