Hiroshi Oeda, Independent Director, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EBARA Corporation will speak at ICGN*1-NBIM*2 Company and Investor Engagement Meeting.
A key element of this event is to encourage constructive dialogue between companies and investors to preserve and enhance long term corporate value. Priority subjects include the role and effectiveness of independent directors and board awareness of cost of capital and shareholder returns.
At the panel session, Mr. Oeda together with other panelists will discuss the topic on “Achieving Optimal Board Effectiveness in Promoting Long-Term Corporate Value”. For Mr. Oeda, this is the second time to participate in the ICGN’s event, “ICGN Japan Governance Priorities” held in October 2022.
