EBARA’s Chillers Business delivers heat source equipment required for air conditioning in buildings/public facilities and plants, such as chillers and cooling towers that are indispensable for cooling in manufacturing processes.
We also provide service and support for our products.
In addition to the chillers and cooling towers found in thermal systems, the EBARA Group proposes the optimal solutions for the operational status of our customers from our wide range of products and wealth of technical capabilities.
We also deliver comprehensive support from manufacturing and sales to maintenance of products.
The kind of meticulous response that only a manufacturer of equipment can offer enables EBARA to propose maintenance options such as preventive maintenance and remote monitoring.

Centrifugal chillers
It is a device promoting refrigerant evaporation and cooling water by a compressor using electricity as energy. Refrigerants with low global warming potential are used, contributing to global warming prevention. It is mainly used for cooling and air conditioning in plant processes with medium and large capacities.
Absorption chillers / Absorption chiller-heaters
Steam and gas are their main energy sources, but these products can also make effective use of exhaust heat and residual heat. Using water as a refrigerant, absorption chiller-heaters, which can supply chilled and hot water, are used for air conditioning, while absorption chillers are used in various plants that can make effective use of steam.
Screw chiller
This water-cooled chiller with screw compressor has the same refrigeration cycle as centrifugal chillers. It can be used in a wide variety of applications, such as medium-size air conditioning and industrial use. EBARA’s products offer excellent transportability and extendibility and can be connected according to the load capacity.
Cooling towers
This device uses water evaporation to cool circulation water. Because it releases the heat exchanged by evaporation into the atmosphere, this product is generally installed outdoors, such as on rooftops. It is used as an ancillary facility for chillers and as a stand-alone cooling tower in industrial applications.

Japan National Stadium is Japan’s most symbolic facility today. It is used for many different purposes, including sports competitions such as football, and various events. <b>Shibuya Stream</b>
Responsible for part of the Shibuya Station Area Redevelopment Project, redeveloping the site remaining after the removal the Tokyu Toyoko Line Shibuya Station platforms and railway lines and the surrounding area. The redevelopment plays many different roles, including hotel, retail, performance hall, and office building. Ebara’s centrifugal chillers were adopted for the air-conditioning system. <b>AGC Chiba Plant</b>
Among the wide range of businesses in which AGC is engaged, its chemicals business offers a wide range of products, including refrigerants that comply with environmental regulations in Japan and overseas. EBARA’s environmentally friendly Low-GWP refrigerant centrifugal chillers are used for process cooling at AGC’s Chiba plant.
<b>Chubu Centrair International Airport</b>
At this airport, natural gas co-generation is used to supply electricity, as well as cooling and heating functions. This facility strives to reduce the burden on the environment and achieve high efficiency through the use of seawater temperature differences, thermal storage, and systems with large cold/hot water temperature difference systems.
