Waste incineration facilities

Waste incineration facilities to support a comfortable way of life

As we go about our lives, we generate waste almost every day. Do you know how much this daily waste (general waste) amounts to across Japan?
It is said that people living in Japan produce nearly 900 grams of waste per day, which amounts to approximately 40 million tons per year (Approx. the volume of 110 Tokyo Domes). Facilities that properly dispose of such a large amount of waste are waste treatment facilities.

Since the delivery of the first grate-type incinerator* in 1961, the Environmental Solutions Company has delivered incinerators to more than 500 facilities in Japan and overseas. In Japan, we have been commissioned to operate more than 80 facilities nationwide. We are creating a positive growth cycle of generating more trust based on our know-how from such top-class operations across Japan.

*Grate-type incinerator: An incinerator in which waste is dried, heated, and burned on a stepped grate (stoker) while it is stirred and moved, which is the most popular in Japan.
