PT. Ebara Turbomachinery Services Indonesia

Career and base in home country

In 2018, I joined Ebara Turbomachinery Services Indonesia (ETSI) in Indonesia. ETSI is a base for repairing compressors and pumps. It has about 51 employees. Established in 2015, it is a relatively new EBARA Group base. I work there as a repair engineer.

Reason for coming to Japan and subject of training

Ever since I was a student, I wanted to work in Japan someday. I also had a strong desire to gain new experiences while working at ETSI. In 2023, I applied to the EBARA Group human resources development program Global Career Development Program and came to Japan. In Japan, besides learning about thermal spraying and welding, I am gaining valuable experience working in cutting-edge facilities and laboratories that are not available at ETSI. Apart from that, Japanese employees are used to being on time and offices are clean and well-organized. I have learned a lot from this sincere attitude toward work.

Goals after returning to home country

In addition to the research and development of micro thermal spraying, which is my main job right now, I have been able to learn a lot in Japan, including about EBARA's systems and business culture. I have also gained new knowledge and experience. I want to bring what I have learned back to Indonesia. In particular, ETSI is interested in micro thermal spraying technology, and if we decide to introduce it someday, I would like to use this experience to contribute.
