PENTAM® is used as the plastic material for this dust collector. PENTAM® is a plastic developed by Zeon Corporation that is made using a molding process. It has excellent mechanical strength and abrasion resistance.
This dust remover specializes in low noise, corrosion resistance, and weight savings by using PENTAM® as a main component. The screen is a keyhole type made by plastic molding. Its apron is corrugated on the screen and prevents clogging and sticking of vinyl, etc.
Features
1. Low noise
Since there is no sliding surface between metals, it eliminates the unpleasant
sound of metal rubbing against metal.
2. Corrosion resistance
The main body is made of plastic and does not corrode in seawater.
This means that it does not require repair costs for parts exposed to water.
3. Weight savings
The dust remover is about 1/3 the weight of conventional products.
It can be suspended by crane and installed as is.
Even in deep water channels, the lower parts can be transported
in sections, making it easy to assemble on-site.
